Arts Network Workshop: The Top 10 Maddening Questions Artists Have on April 14th

Thursday, November 19, 2009
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Artist money matters do not exist in a vacuum, nor are they anything to be afraid of. Learning the best way to approach financial issues will allow you to work a manageable system into the day to day activities of your arts career, in the end complimenting your creative activities instead of hindering them.

Join us for an intermediate- to advanced-level workshop with Joanne Montagner-Hull CPA with Your Bean Counters Inc. Even though Joanne has 30 years of extensive experience with the business community, she also works closely with local artists and both for profit and nonprofit arts organizations. Having a background in the theater, she is truly a CPA and financial expert who “gets” what it means to be an artist, and how important it is for artists to embrace the idea of developing strong money organization skills.

Have you ever stayed up the night before your tax return was due with maddening 12th hour questions? At this workshop Joanne will discuss the most common money questions/problems she receives from artists, and will offer her engaging advice as to how to best approach the solutions.
